The value of military expenditures cannot be underestimated. People forget that military contracts are the source of livelyhood to thousands of Ada programmers who would otherwise be on the street. For every dollar these programmers earn, eight dollars are injected into the economy (they have good credit scores). Also, military attire provides a constant source of inspiration (and free marketing) to the fashion industry, thereby providing sustinance to countless struggling Paris fashion designers specializing in boots and camo chic. For every $100 spent on ripped camo Ts at the local boutique, we know that $34 ends up in the deserving hands of those involved in the production and sale of baguettes and cheese. So before you cry about the amount of money spent on the military consider these figures!
